BieKino ist eine Kino-Kabaret-Zelle in Bielefeld, Deutschland. Gegründet 2021. Sie ist Teil des weltweiten Kino-Movement-Netzwerks — einer offenen, nicht-kommerziellen Filmbewegung, in der Teams unter Zeitdruck gemeinsam Kurzfilme produzieren: „Do well with nothing, do better with little, but do it right now.“
We love filmmaking, and through our non-profit organization Filmhaus Bielefeld we have a strong and passionate foundation supporting BieKino. Our KinoKabaret takes place on the grounds of a former military barracks near Bielefeld’s city center. Participants have access to the entire site, including a variety of unique and inspiring filming locations. Beyond the barracks, Bielefeld itself—a green city nestled at the edge of the Teutoburg Forest—offers countless possibilities as a film set. We provide a wide range of filmmaking equipment, and both food and drinks are included in the ticket price. Most importantly, we believe in the spirit of KinoKabaret: creating an open, welcoming, and safe space where people from all backgrounds can collaborate, experiment, learn from one another, and feel encouraged to try something new.
